What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I played softball for a number of years in my early adulthood. These days my hobbies are spending time with my kids or visiting the bars and restaurants in Downtown Chula Vista. I also sling drinks at Humphreys Concerts by the Bay during the summer.

What’s one fact about your education or upbringing that few people know?
I’ve been in San Diego nearly all of my life (grew up in the Golden Hill/South Park) area, but I spent all of my childhood school breaks in Missouri with my dad’s family.

What are 2 things on your bucket list?

• I would like to go on an extended backpacking trip with my son when he turns 18.
• I would also love to run a bed and breakfast one day when I retire.
