Robert D. Voit is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Voit Real Estate Services. As a guiding force behind the firm, Mr. Voit’s commitment to its people, and to quality, community enhancement, professionalism, and integrity has been demonstrated throughout the organization since its inception in 1971.

Under Mr. Voit’s supervision, Voit Real Estate Services has been instrumental in transforming the commercial real estate industry in Southern California, developing, acquiring and managing over 45 million square feet, spearheading construction projects in excess of $1.5 billion and conducting brokerage transactions in excess of $32 billion.

Mr. Voit served as Chairman of Commuter Computer, as the first Vice Chairman of The Valley Cultural Foundation, and as a member of the board of The Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and the Los Angeles City Headquarters Association.

He has received dozens of awards including the Founders Award from the Boys and Girls Club, the Free Enterprise Award from the San Fernando Valley Business and Professional Association, the VICA Award for Corporate Excellence, and the Valley of the Stars Award, presented by the Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley. Mr. Voit is also active in the Urban Land Institute.

His true commitment to the communities in which he works is best illustrated by his significant involvement with several chapters of The Boys and Girls Club of America and his role in founding The West Valley Boys & Girls Club.

Prior to forming Voit Real Estate Services, Mr. Voit was an Office Leasing Specialist with Coldwell Banker. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his master’s degree from California State University, Los Angeles.

As Chief Financial Officer of Voit Real Estate Services, Vance McNeilly leads Voit’s financial operations and oversees the company’s administration throughout the Western U.S.

Prior to joining Voit, McNeilly spent ten years with Trammell Crow Company, primarily as Regional Financial Manager for the Western U.S., then as V.P. of Finance for CBRE after the merger. His experience includes financial and operational roles with regional full–service firms Lowe Enterprises and Tooley & Co and, most recently, with Colliers International as Regional Finance & Operations Manager.

McNeilly is an alumnus of the UCLA Graduate School of Management & School of Law, having previously obtained his undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics from University of California, Berkeley. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

 

Barbara Rea

As Voit’s Executive Director of Corporate Resources, Barbara Rea is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of marketing, branding, advertising, public relations, market research and training/professional development for the firm. Rea leads the company’s initiatives to position Voit as the best commercial real estate services provider in the Western United States. Along with the CFO and Executive Managing Director, Rea serves on the company’s Senior Leadership Team.

Prior to joining Voit, Rea was the Southwest Regional Marketing Director for Pulte Homes. She is a marketing and operations veteran with more than 15 years of experience leading and inspiring teams at Fortune 250 companies including Pulte Homes, Centex Homes, Unisys Corporation and the privately-held Irvine Company.

Rea graduated cum laude with a Marketing Communications degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and holds a Marketing Certificate from University of California, Irvine as well as her Certified Marketing Director designation through ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers). She is also a former Board Director for the Inland Empire Sales & Marketing Council.

As Executive Managing Director of Voit Real Estate Services, Mark Read oversees all of Voit’s offices for both brokerage services as well as real estate management services. Read provides guidance to the Managing Directors in every region in which Voit operates and leads teams in Orange County, Los Angeles and Inland Empire comprised of brokerage professionals, asset managers, real estate managers, financial analysts and more.

Read brings more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry to Voit. Prior to joining Voit, Read served as Senior Managing Director for CBRE’s San Diego region for 13 years. In this role, he oversaw more than 220 employees across multiple divisions including brokerage, asset services, corporate services, investment properties, debt and equity finance, valuation and advisory services, and project management. Prior to this, Read served as a Managing Director of CBRE’s North San Diego office.

Read is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles. He has served as President of the San Diego Commercial Real Estate Association, President of HomeAid San Diego, and President of the San Diego chapter of NAIOP.

 

Chris Wood

As Managing Director of Voit Real Estate Services’ San Diego, Las Vegas and Phoenix offices, Chris Wood is responsible for overseeing Voit’s operations and directs a team comprised of landlord and tenant leasing and sales professionals, investment sales professionals, portfolio managers, real estate managers, project managers, financial analysts, and brokerage professionals who work together to provide clients with a single-point of service for all of their real estate requirements.

Prior to joining Voit, Wood was Vice President of Real Estate Development at Opus West Corporation, for which he established the company’s San Diego office. In that position, he was responsible for the acquisition, asset management and disposition of commercial product in the region and grew the company’s operations into a $95 million annual pipeline within two and a half years, establishing Opus as one of the region’s top commercial real estate firms.

Wood also held positions with Trammell Crow Company, Colliers Iliff Thorn and Charles Dunn Company. With over 12 years of hands-on institutional quality investment and development experience, Wood has developed and then subsequently leased or sold approximately 2.4 million square-feet of commercial real estate. His brokerage career transaction volume of $600 million represents 8 million square-feet of corporate facilities, 170 acres of land development, 142 residential lots and 205 apartment units.

Wood is a member of NAIOP and the USD Graduate School of Real Estate Advisory Committee.

Wood is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of California. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California at San Diego.

 

Rob Cord

As Managing Director of Real Estate Management Services, Rob Cord oversees all aspects of Voit’s real estate management team providing oversight and guidance on policies and procedures as well as ensuring a smooth on-boarding process for new clients, properties and portfolios.

Prior to joining Voit, Cord was Senior Managing Director of Property Management at Cassidy Turley. In that role, he was responsible for the overall leadership, strategic focus and profitability of the property management division in Northern California. Cord spent five years at Kennedy Wilson prior to Cassidy Turley, where he oversaw the management of 14 million square feet of commercial properties.

Cord has been a California Business Properties Board Member for the last five years. In addition he is an active member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and has held numerous leadership positions within industry organizations.

As Managing Director of Voit Real Estate Services’ Anaheim, Ontario and Commerce offices, Ian Britton oversees Voit’s brokerage and real estate management services operations in these regions. Mr. Britton provides guidance to his team comprised of brokerage professionals, real estate managers, financial analysts and more.

Prior to joining Voit, Britton served as Senior Vice President for Colliers International based in Irvine. While there, his focus was on the North Orange County industrial submarket specializing in tenant/buyer representation and landlord representation assignments. Prior to Colliers, Britton was with CBRE where he worked with one of the top producing industrial teams in the region and was awarded OC Regional Rookie of the Year in 2001.

Mr. Britton is a member of AIR and NAIOP Young Professionals Group and he graduated from Loyola Marymount University with his Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Marketing.

 

Kevin Sheehan

As Managing Director of Voit ’s Sacramento office, Kevin Sheehan is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Voit ’s operations in the Greater Sacramento market, including asset management, real estate management, brokerage and development services.

Prior to joining Voit, Sheehan was a senior vice president with CB Richard Ellis ’ Roseville, California office. In his 21 years of experience with CB Richard Ellis, he has specialized in tenant representation in office leasing and buyer representation for land and commercial property sales. Sheehan was recognized as a “Top 3” producer in his office 15 times. As a member of the Association of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE), he was awarded the Land Broker of the Year Award.

Sheehan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is also a graduate of the St. Charles Center for Professional Education.

 

Jerry Holdner

As Vice President of Market Research, Jerry Holdner is responsible for leading Voit’s market research and demographics department, which supplies the company with the information needed to provide the best services in commercial real estate. Holdner directly oversees the research analysts and demographic specialists located in seven of Voit’s offices and is responsible for the production of over 28 quarterly market reports and 7 market updates and for the contracting of over 45 external data service providers.

Prior to joining Voit in 1999, Holdner worked in for Grubb and Ellis as Director of Research, providing information and support for their Orange County offices, and for First Image Technologies (the creators of Metropolis), assisting with sales, training, data integration and software design.

Holdner graduated from California State University – Fullerton with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance, Real Estate, and Personal Financial Planning. He later obtained a Master’s in Business Administration from Chapman University’s George L. Argyros School of Business. Holdner now serves on Chapman’s Economic Advisory Board.
